Frank`s Pizza in Salem

Love this place. Everyone there is very courteous and friendly. Clean environment. Great place for both lunch and dinner. I highly recommend this place.

Dad and I were traveling from New York and saw Franks and decided to stop. My dad got the meat lovers Stromboli and the portion was awesome, it tasted amazing! Nothing bad to say about it. I got the white pizza and had the same expiernce, it was amazing. We both say it’s a must to stop by and try out. You will not be disappointed!

I went here to eat the other day. I go to the other ones most of the time but I thought I would try this one in Salem. I wish I didn't! I didn't check my pizza until I got home and it was totally burnt! I couldnt even eat it it was that bad! I called to complain to the manager and he told me to bring the pizza back, when I told him before that i live in Catawba! Instead of taking me for my word he refused to listen anymore and told me if I didnt bring it back I wouldnt get my money, to top that off he was extra mean and easy to deal with! We wont be going back to this one anymore! The owner needs to hire another manager because the one he has is the worst! not good business at all! I give this place a 0 out of 5 stars!

Not only is the food FANTASTIC, but these folks have truly put themselves out for me, more than once. My Mom is up in age, and she loves St. Patrick's Day and also pizza. I called Frank's and asked if they'd make me a pizza in the shape of a shamrock...they said "sure" and didn't even charge me extra! On Mom's 90th birthday, they made her a "90 year" pizza as well. I'm adding the pictures. The meatballs are to die for, LOVE the pizza and actually have never had a bad bite to eat here!

Nice friendly service and great food!

It was a pizza baked on top of another piece of cheese pizza. Burnt yet the cheese wasn’t all that melted. Not sure what happened...heard this place was amazing. Staff is nice, service quick, pizza is ________ (I will let you fill in the blank based on the picture).

I ordered a pizza at 4:35pm. Got told 45 mins to an hour. Called at 6pm, got told the delivery guy left 40 mins ago and should be there soon. Called an hour later, got told the same thing, called another hour later. They said they delivered it to me. NOPE. So after waiting 4 hours (and btw every time I called they asked for my address) they delivered it to the wrong house and when I complained on fb about it they basically said sorry but we didn’t do anything wrong, then when I wouldn’t take that as a proper response(they were making it seem like it was my fault) I got blocked and the post was deleted. Oh and when I asked to speak to a manager they didn’t let me. So nuff said terrible place! Will not go back!

Recommend Frank's pizza to everybody who loves pizza.Especially if you like it cheesy...Never heavy on the sauce.

We have always loved Frank's, glad to be able to go in again and sit down for lunch with my family.

Great pizzas and sandwiches. Large variety of toppings. Only thing that keeps me from coming more often is the price.

Nice friendly venue. We got a sandwich and chicken parmigiana this time. Only fair. From now on only pizza for us at Frank's.

Used to be the best pizza in town. Now they tell you it will be delivered in 30 minutes and it is over an hour and COLD. They need to up their delivery service and deliver a hot pizza on time!

Great Pizza, Hot ham a cheese subs and cheese steak subs. Can't go wrong.

Ordered pizza from here for delivery during finals week. I waited the hour it said it would take on the website. I didn’t have my car nearby and it was cold out so I didn’t mind. Over an hour later, I got a call from them saying that they ‘couldn’t find an address’. When I ordered online, I typed in the street address for the dorm, less than awhile away. They then ask if I can come to the store and pick it up. I asked the driver if he knew anywhere else on Roanoke’s campus and he said no. He then asks me to MEET him. Since this was easier I just went out to meet him. He drives past me multiple times and ends up meeting me two houses past the original delivery directions. The pizza was delivered cold and on top of that they forgot my two drinks. Did not apologize for the inconvenience. Horrible service. Will not order from here again

My first review of Franks was based on 1 order and the experience was a bit off-putting. I have since ordered several times and the service the last few times has been much better. The staff was polite and the food was excellent. I have upgraded my 1 star to 4. As with any service industry, turnover in staff is a constant. It seems at the moment Frank's has a good staff and the food being produced is above par.

Stick to the pizza and calzones here. It actually really good. Definitely don’t get the Caesar Salad. Also, they offer fresh fruit on their kids menu. This is what we got.

Fast delivery to the La Quinta Inn hotel. Driver was beyond amazing and pizza was delicious. Will def. be my go to when I'm in town again!

The food here was amazing. I got a cheesteak sub which was out of this world, and also had pineapple on it, odd but still a great combo. Staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. I would visit this place again!

Holy cow!! I ordered a gluten free pizza from Franks, it's AMAZING!! I actually called them back to make sure it was gluten free (i had already eaten 2 slices lol) Its the best cheese pizza I've ever had!!

One star i have to give because it wont let me give a review without 1 25 dollar sausage and pepper subs 2 and 5 pieces of sausage smaller then the mushrooms on both subs been a regular customer and called with no resolve never throw my money away there again

This was one of the few restaurants open when I was in high school many years ago. I am so glad that it's still going strong. They make my favorite kind of pizza---white with ricotta, mozzarella and garlic.

The atmosphere is family friendly. Daily discounts and fresh mushrooms are always a plus. The food is awesome and the staff is friendly. Check it out for yourself.

One star would be generous I ordered a pizza at 7:30. I waited and waited 45 minutes went buy I called got the run around. I called 4 more time's during my 2 hour wait. Every time I called the lady on the phone had no 💡 what was going on. Finally around 9:50 I ask to speak with a manager. He got on the phone offered no explanation then hung the phone up on me. So I drove up there it was not far maybe a quarter mile. Ask too speak to the owner she offered absolutely no solution to the problem. I guess I will never eat a pepperoni pizza from Fank's Pizza. Apparently they can not make nor delivery one in 3 hours.

Ordered a pizza at 730. Nothing came. Called multiple times saying it was on he way. Never showed. Called and said they would give 50 percent off the next day. Pathetic. Poorly ran

Quick lunch visit because of the awesome $5.99 deal for two one-topping slices & drink. Did not disappoint as the slices were HUGE and good. Decent crust for a thin slice NY style pizza.

We just ordered online. I requested sauce on the side for my daughter's spaghetti. (My daughter only likes plain noodles and my husband planned to use the extra sauce on his calzone). Once we got home the sauce was on top of the spaghetti. I called the store, they first had to check the ticket to make sure I was telling the truth then proceeded to tell me we should have called in the order and sometimes the people in the kitchen don't check the special instructions. 1. I attempted to call in the order --after trying for almost 15 minutes with a constant busy signal I decided to place the order online , 2. Why did they have a place for special instructions if they were not going to read them, 3. They don't do any better when you order over the phone which is why we originally stopped ordered from them. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I would not recommend this place at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. Horrible food, horrible service. Calzones are served cold in the middle, eggplant parmesan sub was slimy and not edible. We were told "well you ordered during our lunch rush" Really?????!!!!! Worst food ever!

Coming from the New York City area, this was not bad. It lacks the depth and chewyness of a real NY pizza but, the sauce tastes good as the cheese is very good. I will eat here again.

Good Italian comfort food and salads, at a good price. Service is usually very good, as well.

Prices are decent, I got a Reuben with fries for delivery and they just wrap everything with aluminum foil which in turn makes the food super soggy.. not the best. They also didnt label anything on a $100+ order so it was troublesome to figure out what is what.

Frank's is a sleepy little pizza place in downtown Salem. My husband loves Frank's for its sliced Italian Sausage and we order it every time we go. The large slices of thin crust pizza are pretty good. Kevin us always friendly.

Poor service. I walked in and paid she said it will be 5 minutes, then I was told to wait outside and I will bring out your order. The 5 minutes turned into 25 minutes and after a phone call to them they came out. The hand sanitizer on the counter is vinegar, GROSS!

Portions are big, service fast my only complaints are I didnt get everything I asked for, my garlic knots were hard so they were not edible and I was charged a $4 delivery fee when the web site said it was free delivery.

The pizza was very delicious overall. The Roca Pizza we got actually had too many olives and would be better if they were sliced instead of whole.

Very good pizza. It is probably the best I've had outside New York and New Jersey, but it does take a little bit to come out especially if they are busy.

This is the worst place to eat in Salem. I’d literally rather go to long John silvers and I won’t go to long John silvers. Terrible management terrible food. Greed doesn’t help a business stay alive, it eats itself from the inside out.
